Sun King needed a website that better served customers with limited internet access and device capability.

Additionally, they were rapidly scaling up operations to better serve its customers.

We needed to improve their communication, positioning, and cohesiveness of user experience ahead of a critical investment round to ensure their mission never skipped a beat.

Global Design

We chose a bright, minimal approach to the design of this website.

The Sun King primary yellow accompanies uncluttered layouts to draw attention to the right elements.

Discovery

With most Sun Kings customers relying on 3G networks and older devices, the website needed to be optimized for these users.

We minimized using imagery, video, and animation wherever possible to accomplish this.

In instances where these items were necessary to communicate their story, we made sure to optimize them as much as possible.

Homepage

We open the homepage with a video depicting how Sun King directly impacts communities and how they can prove solar power to their customers.

We quickly follow this up with statistics demonstrating their impact and then connect you to the three most important products for delivering those results.

The Sun King product page featured custom 3D renders we assisted with to depict the product in its highest quality.

As you scroll lower on the page, you’ll be presented with multiple breakout sections highlighting each system's features and capability.

About Page

The About page further communicates the mission and impact Sun King has.

A panning image gallery shows the faces and smiles of those Sun King is bringing power to.

Statics show how they’re actively improving things like how much time people have to read, how their air quality has been positively impacted, and how safe families feel now, thanks to Sun King.
